Sydnie Hanson

Hello!

My name is Sydnie Hanson. I am a freshman at Baker University. I am in the Elementary Education program and I plan to pursue a career in teaching after graduation. In high school, I was a student in the Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) Teacher Education program for two semesters. For twelve weeks out of the semester, I was in an internship with two teachers to get a feel of different teaching styles. Outside of elementary education, I play basketball and I also teach children gymnastics. I work with kids almost every day and I love every minute of it. I have always wanted to influence the lives of young children, and that is what inspired me to be a teacher.
